ABOUT ME
Your Friendly Neighborhood Editor
Yep. I was that kid.
With a grandmother who was an editor, a mother who is a reading specialist, and a father who is an attorney, I may just have reading and writing in my genes. When I was eight, my parents gifted me a thrifted electric typewriter. I have loved to put words together ever since—whether I was leaving notes from our cat around the house or writing page after page of a fiction novel that would never see the light of day.
I thoroughly enjoy reading fantasy, science fiction, and realistic fiction. I grew up on series like Maximum Ride, Alex Rider, Epic, and Peter and the Starcatchers. (All of which I'd read again now.)
Now I’m here.
After graduating from Brigham Young University (BYU) with a bachelor's degree in editing and publishing, I have been working professionally as an editor.

I work to provide clear, careful, and complementary edits—preserving the author’s voice—and I specialize in polishing the to-be-published content of writers who want to build a serious reputation as a book author or in an academic field. My clients have been published by Brill, the University of Utah’s Department of Neurology, Brigham Young University’s Prelaw Review, Editing Research, Latter-day Saint Insights, Family Perspectives, Future House Publishing, Covenant Communications, the Utah Marriage Commission, Leading Edge magazine, and the Liahona magazine.

Let’s talk about you.
Because of my formal editing training from a competitive university and my professional experience of already editing over 500 pieces of written content for publication, I’ve walked the path to publishing many times. I know how to elevate your writing—guaranteed. But what does this mean for you? It means that you’ll be set on the path to becoming a published author and producing the high-quality content your university or future Amazon reviewers (or even your eight-year-old self and electric typewriter) would be proud of.
